“I have known Shilpi for over ten years now, ever since my son and then my daughter joined her art and drawing classes. From the very beginning, she has been one of the most patient, gentle and inspiring teachers I’ve ever come across. She has a beautiful way of connecting with children, understanding their pace and bringing out their creativity with so much love and encouragement. My kids have learnt so much from her, not just in art but in confidence and imagination. One of the things I’ve always admired is how she makes every class feel special. She creates festive-themed sessions for Halloween, Easter, Christmas, Diwali and so many other occasions, making learning fun, exciting and something the kids always look forward to. Over the years, she has beautifully expanded her work doing face painting for birthdays, school events and creating stunning customised artwork, portraits and paintings. Everything she does reflects her passion. It’s amazing to see how far she has come and it’s a reminder that people grow and shine when they truly love what they do. “I really enjoyed yesterday’s canvas art session as well as the mandala art sessions with Shilpi. Both were very nice and relaxing. There are so many things we feel we can’t do, but with her guidance, everything feels possible. For example, I never thought I would be able to complete a canvas painting like yesterday’s, but I did and it turned out really good. I had also never tried mandala art before, and those sessions have been equally wonderful. Sometimes we even meditate during the mandala classes, which makes the entire experience very calming.
