1. Introduction

These terms govern your use of the Shilpkar website (shilpkar.co.uk) and the purchase of products and services from Shilpi Jain trading as Shilpkar. By using this website or booking a service you agree to these terms.

2. Art Classes

  • Class bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the class start time will receive a full credit towards a future class.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable.
  • We reserve the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrolment or unforeseen circumstances; full refunds will be issued in such cases.
  • Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian unless otherwise agreed.

3. Face Painting & Event Services

  • A deposit may be required to secure a booking; this will be confirmed at the time of enquiry.
  • Cancellations made less than 72 hours before an event may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
  • Travel outside a 20-mile radius of Ebbsfleet may incur an additional mileage charge.
  • We reserve the right to decline face painting if a child has a skin condition, open wounds, or conjunctivitis.
  • All face paints used are professional-grade, hypoallergenic, and EU/FDA compliant.

4. Online Shop & Original Artwork

  • All artwork is original and one-of-a-kind; no prints or reproductions are sold through the shop.
  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store card details.
  • Paintings are dispatched within 5 working days of payment confirmation.
  • UK shipping is free. International shipping is available on request.
  • You have 14 days from receipt to return a painting for a full refund. The artwork must be returned in its original packaging.

5. Commissioned Artwork

  • A 50% deposit is required before work begins on any commission.
  • The remaining balance is due on completion before delivery.
  • Commissions are non-refundable once work has commenced.
  • Up to two rounds of revisions are included; additional revisions may incur a charge.
  • Shilpkar retains the right to display commissioned work in their portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Intellectual Property

All artwork, images, and content on this website are the intellectual property of Shilpi Jain (Shilpkar). You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any content without prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shilpkar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
